Leslie Talansky is the Director of Sales for Cox Media California. She oversees local, national and digital sales, as well as inventory management. Sales strategy, building and nurturing relationships, product maximization and talent development are key areas of responsibility. Based in California, Leslie also works closely with her boundary partners at Cox Communications and Cox Business as well as her Atlanta business partners. Leslie has been with Cox Communications for 20 years, beginning her career as a Marketing Manager at Cox Communications in Pensacola, Florida. Since 1997 she has been at Cox Media as a local Marketing Manager and then in several corporate roles as a Regional Marketing Director and Senior Director of Client Strategy. Leslie has been involved in the launch of many new teams and products including ad-supported video-on-demand, interactive advertising, our inside sales channel, lead and demand generation and our national client solutions sales channel.
A New York native, before joining Cox Leslie began her career as a media buyer at J. Walter Thompson in Manhattan. Leslie holds a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA in Marketing.
Leslie also enjoys giving back and serves as a mentor to many professionals within Cox Communications. She also is involved with Women in Cable Television, in the process of joining the Make A Wish board and volunteers at her children’s school for multiple events and organizations.
Leslie lives in Rancho Bernardo, California with her husband Bill and her children Samantha -21 and Brandon-18 In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking and Orangetheory Fitness.
