Linda Alperin serves as Vice President of Telephony Operations for Comcast Greater Chicago Region. She is responsible for meeting financial goals on a $100M regional telephony business spanning four operating Areas and nearly four million homes. Linda directs every aspect of the telephony business including operations, finance, marketing, sales, engineering, customer care and billing. Linda has also just recently assumed responsibility for leading the Commercial business for the Chicago Region. Previously, Linda was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Comcast Greater Chicago Region and oversaw customer growth for their Video, High Speed Data and Telephony businesses across a base of 3.7 million homes. Linda has been in the telecommunications industry for over 18 years. She joined TCI / AT&T Broadband in 1998 as Division Executive Director of Marketing. Before joining TCI, Linda spent 10 years with Ameritech most recently as their Director of Marketing for Consumer Services. Linda holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BS Degree from the University of Illinois. She has been a long-time Executive Board member of WICT and serves as an Executive Mentor. Linda was recently honored with the WICT Chicago “Breaking the Mold” award for 2005. Linda has held numerous board positions with CTAM and is a board member of the Illinois CT&C. She is a 2004 graduate of the Comcast Executive Leadership Forum. Linda is married to husband Gary and has two sons – Kevin (10) and Justin (6).
