Lisa Greene leads CNN’s HR strategy and delivery across the company with teams in Atlanta, Washington DC, Los Angeles, London and Hong Kong. Based in New York, she reports to Angela Santone, CHRO for Turner Broadcasting Inc.
Prior to being promoted to her current role, Greene held the role of Vice President and relocated to New York at the time that Jeff Zucker joined the organization in 2013. She started with Turner in 2009 as the Director of Human Resources for CNN’s Washington, DC bureau and for network-wide Operations where she played a significant role in workforce planning and strategy for the 2012 presidential election. Before joining Turner, Greene was a Director of Human Resources for the company now known as AonHewitt, a global HR consulting & outsourcing company. She started her career in HR at a real estate investment firm, based in Atlanta.
Greene earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She holds the Senior HR Professional (SPHR) designation. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and has been involved with Women in Cable Television (WICT) and the Cable and Telecommunications HR Association (CTHRA).
