Lisa Thomas

Lisa Thomas is the Senior Manager of Strategic Customer Experience for CommScope’s Voice of the Customer program, Customer CONNECT. Lisa oversees customer interviews and internal action planning to help CommScope realize its core value of Customer First. With Lisa’s leadership and her ability to build trusting relationships both internally and externally, customer participation in Customer CONNECT has grown 30-fold.

Lisa has been in the telecommunications industry since 1993 beginning with Motorola. Through her 25+ years in the industry she has held several leadership roles including Procurement Strategy and Operations, leading a global team of Product Cost Analysts, along with Program Managing special projects.

Lisa is passionate about building her personal brand and enhancing her professional reputation and connections through her involvement in Women in Cable Telecommunications. Lisa has been an active member since 2014, where she has held a Committee Position on the Communications Team, Co-Chair for Membership, Vice-President and is currently serving as President. She works closely with 18 other Board members to oversee the vision and execution of the Chapter which serves approximately 500 members in the Chicagoland area focusing on Leadership and Development Skills.

Lisa was been awarded WICT (Women in Cable Telecommunications) Volunteer of the Year, she participated in the WICT Rising Star Mentorship Program in 2016, and the Executive Development Series in 2018. Lisa attended the Half the Sky Leadership Program in 2018.

Lisa has a Bachelor in Business Management and an MBA from Western Illinois University. She lives in Barrington, Illinois and enjoys spending time watching her 13 year old daughter play Softball.
