Lorie Bourque is Director, Business Development – Media Operations at Cox Media, the advertising sales division of Cox Communications. In this role, Lorie enables data-driven advertising capabilities and partnerships to positively impact the products and tools that Cox Media provides for its clients and internal teams. In addition to her work in data, she has led special and strategic projects, managed business-critical technology vendors, and served as a key team member during the centralization of various functional areas.
Before Cox Media, Lorie worked at Cox Enterprises in corporate marketing, where she advanced initiatives for Cox’s newspaper, broadcasting, cable, and automotive business units. She was also part of Cox’s new media/business development team, performing financial and market analysis for the senior leadership of Cox Enterprises and its divisions. She started her career in television advertising, including at WSB-TV in Atlanta.
Lorie holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from The University of Georgia. She fell in love with media and advertising as an undergraduate and feels fortunate to have spent her career at Cox in so many capacities. Lorie is active in Cox’s mentoring and employee resource group programs, as well as Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta. She resides in Atlanta with her husband and two children.
