Melanie Ashley is a 15-year industry veteran who is currently the Senior Director of Promotion Production at iNDEMAND and an active Board member of the WICT New York Chapter. Her efforts with WICT NY are focused primarily on the chapter Mentoring Programs. She previously led the chapter’s group-based mentoring program for women 2-5 years in the industry, and now serves as Co-Chair for Prime Access, the award-winning, one-to-one mentoring program for women Director level and above in the cable telcom industry.
Her personal mission statement is based on a belief in growth and possibility for herself and those around her. She harnesses this principle by dedicating herself to broadening her personal knowledge, and challenging herself to construct meaningful learning opportunities. Thus, leading by example, she hopes to foster the growing potential in others and cultivate talent, fuel her organization, and sponsor the future of the industry as a whole.
Melanie is a native Tennessean and a proud Navy "brat". She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN and holds a Masters of Fine Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
