Meredith Cooper

​Meredith Cooper, vice president of IFC’s on air creative services group, brings the network’s "Always On, Slightly Off" sensibility to life daily thru on air campaigns for the brand and IFC’s slate of comedic programming.  She is responsible for all on air promotional campaigns including overseeing the launch of new and existing original programming, network tentpole events, movie promotions, and fulfilling sponsorship integrations.  The on-air creative campaigns she brings to life also play out on IFC’s VOD platform, EST fulfillment, and off network barter and media buys.  

 

Prior to her appointment as vice president, Meredith was the creative director for IFC, where she was a key contributor to the network’s rebrand to "Always On. Slightly Off."   Recently, she oversaw the on-air launches of IFC’s Peabody award winning Portlandia, contributing to record ratings for the network for an IFC Original and led the on-air creative executions for the IFC originals Comedy Bang! Bang! and Maron.   Additionally, she oversaw award winning on-air promotions for several of IFC’s movie events including "Rambo Weekend," "Trek Wars Month," and "Alien Valentine."  Meredith also contributed to a partnership with Geico whereby the brand’s Maxwell the Pig was featured in custom spots centered around a popular Portlandia sketches.

 

Prior to IFC, Meredith worked as a freelance producer overseeing post production on shows such as Food Network’s Boy Meets Grill with Bobby Flay and VH1’s True Spin.  She began her career in post production at Sony Music Studios. 

 

Meredith holds a bachelor’s degree in music business from Belmont University.
