Michelle Becker is the Director of Internal Communications for Comcast in Washington State. From banking, training, marketing to internal communications, the common thread throughout these experiences has been her ability to simplify the complicated.
In her current role, she creates and delivers strategic communication solutions that influence 2,000 employees across seven different functions throughout the state. Live and virtual broadcasts, leadership conferences, newsletters and executive communications are among the mix of the tactics used to reach this employee base.
Michelle gained her knowledge of the telecommunications industry as a marketing coordinator and eventually manager, where she drove product launches, channel launches and the creation of marketing material for customers and employees.
Active with the local Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), Michelle was a founding board member of the Washington Women’s Network, one of the first ERGs in Washington State. Michelle was also a founding member and is a current Co-Lead for the region’s newest ERG, MyAbilites.
Prior to Comcast, Michelle was a trainer for Bank of America where she helped new and existing employees developed the skills they needed to be successful in their roles.
Michelle received her Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Seattle University.
When not at work, you can find Michelle cooking, reading and spending time with her husband and their two children ages six and nine in their hometown of Edmonds, Washington.
