Michelle Strong is Senior Vice President, Content Distribution for A+E Networks. In this role Michelle co-leads the Distribution Sales team which is responsible for securing distribution and revenue for A+E Networks.
In addition, Michelle also co-leads A+E Networks’ “Multicultural Insights Team” which serves as a multicultural in-house resource for the organization.
Michelle has worked for some of the top brands in the industry. In addition to her tenure with A+E Networks, she’s held roles with Disney and ESPN Media Networks, BET and Comcast.
Michelle has a B.A. in Communications from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (VA Tech) and an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.
Passionate about continued education and leadership development, Michelle is a graduate of the NAMIC Executive Leadership Development Program (Class II) at UCLA; CTAM U at Harvard and the nationally recognized Betsy Magness Leadership Institute Program.
Michelle was named a Multichannel News Woman to Watch in 2018, listed in Cablefax as one of the Most Powerful Women 2018, was a recipient of the NAMIC Luminary Award in 2010 and she has been listed multiple years in CableFax’s Most Influential Minorities in Cable. Michelle also sits on The WICT Network Global Board of Directors and the NAMIC National Board.
