Nicole Ambrifi

I graduated from Syracuse University in 1993 and then went to earn my Master’s Degree in 1994.  Education and learning has always been important to me which is why I look forward to this opportunity.  I began my career working as an intern in the Print Industry and helped to launch Marie Claire Magazine from Italy.   From there I went on to work for Forbes Magazine to better learn about the industry.  After meeting so many interesting people and building such great relationships, I used those colleagues and contacts to help me earn my next position as an Account Executive at Sports Illustrated for Kids Magazine.  Becoming a master in the Kids Industry, I was able to take that experience with me and begin my Cable Career at Fox Family Channel as a "Kids Account Executive".  I then began working at NBC Universal, MTV Networks, and later at Scripps Networks, where I have been successfully selling for almost 8 years.

In my current position at Scripps I am responsible for bringing in nearly 100 Million dollars in revenue each year.  This includes Food Network, Cooking Channel and our digital properties.  I have earned many awards from my management team including "Negotiator of the Year"  "Most Creative Marketer"  "New Business Client Development" along with the first ever award for "Cross Scripps Deal of the Year".  I just recently won Sales Person of the Year at this year’s Sales Conference.

As a working mom, it is very important for me to have a work life balance with my family and my career and look forward to learning from other women at this year’s conference in November.
