Rachel Popo is an Engineering Manager at Comcast, responsible for leading VIPER’s Capacity Engineering team. Her team of software engineers and data scientists are responsible for identifying, modeling and projecting resource needs to ensure IP Video platforms and services can scale effectively. Rachel is passionate about automation and identifying opportunities to improve the scalability, efficiency and operability of existing technologies. She is a serial innovator, who recently had a patent published for one of her corporate inventions. Rachel graduated from CU Denver with a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Engineering, after taking a short break to study entrepreneurship and launch a mobile app in Silicon Valley. When Rachel’s not working, she loves to snowboard, golf and travel.
