Rachel Saffian Gould is Senior Director of Strategic Communications at Comcast Advertising, which includes Effectv, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable, and FreeWheel, a global technology company connecting advertising buyers and sellers for the future television marketplace.
In this role, Rachel leads external press messaging, working closely with leaders across the organization to develop news releases, messaging strategies, thought leadership, research reports and videos to grow the brands and articulate their role in the quickly changing TV advertising landscape.
Rachel has nearly 20 years of experience helping complex companies tell simple, engaging stories to businesses and consumers. Previously, she worked at Videology as a Director of Sales Strategy and Director of Marketing & Communications. By driving industry awareness and thought leadership for Videology, Rachel helped the company progress from a small start-up to a global name in the ad tech space, eventually leading to its acquisition by Amobee in 2018.
Before entering the media and technology side of the advertising business, Rachel started her career in Account Management at three of the top U.S. Advertising shops – BBDO, Ogilvy, and Foote Cone & Belding (now DraftFCB). In these roles, Rachel worked with major clients including American Express, Unilever, and Bank of America on both consumer and B2B advertising and branding.
Rachel graduated Magna Cum Laude and with Honors from Colgate University. She lives in New York with her husband and two young daughters.
