Ruthie Evans is the General Manager for Suddenlink Communications over Ruston, LA, Bastrop, LA and Jonesboro, LA where she oversees the day to day operations of the cable systems, including field and office, providing Video, High Speed Internet and Phone services to Ruston, Bastrop, Jonesboro and surrounding communities. Ruthie’s other duties include, but or not limited to; public relations with local franchise authorities and communities, marketing strategies and implementation, direct and manage system upgrades, create, support and drive a sales culture within her organization. Ruthie has seventeen plus years’ experience in the Telecommunications Industry starting as a Customer Care Service Representative, then moving to Dispatcher and later Inventory Control Specialist. These paths allowed her to not only learn the operations of the business but to also lead people and manage processes.
Ruthie earned her BBA in Business Administration from Grambling State University and her MPA in Public Administration from University of Louisiana in Monroe. In December 2013, she earned my BS in Theology and Divinity from New Living Word School of Ministry graduating Magna Cumm Laude 4.0 GPA. She recently graduated in December 2014 with a M.DIV in Divinity.
