Sarah began her passion for non-profit work and helping others in college, where she was involved as a tour guide, orientation leader, and in leadership roles in the Panhellenic Association and her sorority. Through her experiences, Sarah developed a love for connecting with others and desire to help with socioeconomic equity, which led her to study higher education after college, with a focus on student development and inequality. Prior to The WICT Network, Sarah worked with college students at universities as an advisor and advocate, and in community engagement.
Sarah earned her B.A. in English from North Carolina State University and then a Master’s in Education from the University of Virginia. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys cooking, reading novels, and spending time with her Chihuahua.
