Sherry Skinner

Sherry Skinner began her career in the cable industry in 1997 with Charter Communications as a Regional Director of Sales and Marketing.  She continued to gain marketing and sales expertise, and worked for Cox Communications in Hampton Roads, Virginia.  Sherry was selected by Comcast for her branding and marketing capabilities in bringing new products to market such as VOD and VOIP in the New Mexico and Indiana markets, respectively.  Additional expertise was gained with Bresnan Communications, when Sherry was the Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing.  In her current position, she serves as the Director of Sales and Retention with the Mid-South Region of Suddenlink.  Skinner manages a team of supervisors, and helps agents achieve connect and revenue goals in her region, while retaining customers, and providing an environment of growth and development for all of her team members.  

Prior to entering the cable industry, Skinner was elected to the local school board, and was Board President and Vice-President.  During her tenure she was the legislative liaison with the Indiana legislature, and represented the Board in contract negotiations with the teacher’s union.  Skinner also owned her own marketing firm, 4P Marketing Consultants.

Skinner holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University, with a double-major in marketing and sociology, as well as an Executive MBA from Regent University.  She is certified to teach and train the Enneagram profiles, which are predictive models of behavior.   Skinner also serves as a financial coach, and teaches Dave Ramsey’s workshop, Financial Peace University, at her church.
