Shinese M. Collins is a Consumer Product Marketing Operations Manager for Cox Communications. During her 20 + years in the telecommunications industry, Shinese has acquired extensive communication, relationship-building, leadership, planning, presentation, coaching, and development expertise. She is the president of The WICT Network Virginia Chapter board.
Accordingly, to further share her expertise within the areas, she authored a book in 2016 entitled Resilient on Purpose. She was recognized as a Women to Watch by A+E in their 2019 SheReports. Shinese has been a featured keynote speaker for women’s associations (including Women in Cable Telecommunications Virginia Chapter), religious organizations, and networking marketers.
To complement her work experience, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Norfolk State University in Norfolk, VA. a Master of Business Administration degree from Averett University in Danville, VA, and a Master of Art degree from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. She is also a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt and a Certified Life, Personal and Executive Coach. Shinese is a graduate of Class 50 of the WICT Rising Leader Program.
Shinese is married and has a daughter. She enjoys spending time with her family, working with her sorority in the community, and doing ministry with her church. Her passion is to guide women to remove self-imposed boundaries and become the high achievers they were designed to be.
