Stephanie Ruyle is a Vice President for MTV Networks Affiliate Sales and Marketing. She is responsible for three exciting and varied areas: Field Marketing, Local Ad Sales and Portfolio Marketing. While each group has unique challenges and opportunities one constant is that she is responsible across each team for securing and maximizing MTVN distribution and revenue by creating and driving innovative marketing and local advertising strategies. She is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with a multitude of key constituents: national and regional distributors, key internal clients, and all MSO partners. Stephanie is currently responsible for leading and mentoring a team of 21 people.
Prior to her current role, Stephanie has held many positions over her 11 year tenure with MTV Networks. She began in Chicago as a Field Sales Representative and went on to manage the NCTC account. After seven years in sales she craved new experiences and challenges and accepted a Director of Affiliate Marketing position for MTV2 in NYC.
Before joining MTVN, Stephanie worked for five years at Frito-Lay as an Account Executive, a position she created while working as a District Sales Manager, where she was responsible for establishing relationships with over 500 retailers and securing additional distribution outlets and incremental revenue.
Stephanie earned her BA in Business Administration, with a double major in Marketing and Finance, at the University of Iowa. She received her MBA from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
