Suzanne L. Young

Suzanne L. Young utilizes her unique blend of business experience, technology management and organizational development to cultivate leaders and advance corporate efficiencies.  Her passion for empowering others to succeed was the foundation for establishing FTS Strategics, LLC, which specializes in management consulting, change management, executive coaching, and career counseling.  As a successful businesswoman, Ms. Young understands the dynamism and tact necessary to achieve personal and professional goals. 

 

Her consulting work has delivered high impact results for her clients through adept/expert management of strategic corporate projects and change initiatives.  The professional development programs she has designed and workshops facilitated developed stronger leaders and more productive teams.  She has led training workshops in the areas of technology, process management, performance management, team development, conflict resolution, Myers-Brigg Type Indicator Personality Testing (MBTI®), The Seventh PrismTM, and Emotional Intelligence (EQ).

 

As a coach, Suzanne empowers individuals to excel in their careers and achieve personal goals by coaching leaders and teams privately and within organizations.  Clients appreciate her personalized coaching approach and the ability to put their learning directly into practice.  Her clients consistently report improvements in: clarity and focus, self-awareness, communication, leadership skills, collaboration, delegation, problem-solving, time management, and stress reduction.  These improvements have translated into increased productivity and effectiveness.

 

Prior to founding FTS Strategics, LLC, Suzanne held various management roles over a 13 year career with McKinsey & Company, Inc. managing high profile global projects.  She successfully took those projects them from initial concepts through successful implementation including IT Change Management process, Crisis and Security Management, and Y2K compliance.  Over the course of her career, Ms. Young has worked at some of the most influential global businesses and institutions, including Loral Corporation, Towers Perrin (currently Towers Watson), PepsiCo, and IBM.  Her client list has included:  American Express, Bloomberg LLP, Diageo, MTV Networks, NYSE, and ZenithOptimedia.

 

Ms. Young received her Bachelor degree, summa cum laude, from New York University in Organizational Behavior and Communications. Her Certifications from NYU include: Executive and Organizational Coaching, and Career Planning and Development.  She is also a certified Core Values (CVITM) Coach and Trainer, a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®) Practitioner, a Master Seventh PrismTM Coach and Trainer and has training in Emotional Intelligence.  Equipped with this knowledge, Ms. Young is an in-demand professional with the tools to provide an individual with a description of their innate nature, their psychological preferences, and help them assess the facets of their work and life.

 

She currently serves as the President of the Organizational Development Network of New York (ODNNY), previously serving one year as Vice President and three years as a Chief Technology Officer.  Suzanne is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), ICF NYC, and is in the process of receiving her Master Coaching Certification.  Additional professional affiliations include the National Association of Female Executives (NAFE) and the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) by whom she was honored as a 2010/2011 Professional Woman of the Year for her accomplishment in Corporate Training, a prestigious distinction awarded by the 150,000-strong membership of NAPW joining together to develop innovative business and social relationships.
