As Director of Ad Sales, Taryn Crouthers oversees a team focusing on innovative client solutions, integrations, branded content, and non-traditional revenue for A+E Networks’ properties including Lifetime, A&E, History, LMN, and FYI. The team is responsible for East Coast agency and client direct relationships, and sells activations across linear, on-site, social, digital, VOD, and OTT screens.
Taryn moved from Atlanta to New York 2 years ago, as the first Account Executive to spearhead the launch of FYI, A+E Networks new lifestyle brand, to the media community. Prior to joining A+E Networks, Taryn worked at AMC Networks for 10 years, with a heavy emphasis on client direct and media planning teams. She helped to build out the South Eastern territory representing AMC, WEtv, IFC, and SundanceTV’s linear and digital channels within a 12 state region.
Taryn has also held positions with AT&T (formerly BellSouth Advertising & Publishing Corp) in new product development, and founded a mobile advertising startup called SynkUp. She is a mentor for female startup founders, and was the winner of Startup Weekend 2012.
Taryn holds a Bachelor of Business degree in Marketing and Communications from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. She has a passion for cooking and travel, and currently resides in West New York, New Jersey.
