Taylor Sichting is excited and honored to be the recipient of the 2021 Laurel Lawson Fellowship. She started her career as a set production assistant and assistant director on feature films and television shows across the Southeast. The years of long hours on her feet, combined with her Rheumatoid Arthritis, resulted in her requiring a total knee replacement before she was 30 and forcing her to search for a safer work environment. After her departure from film sets, she attended graduate school at Northeastern University earning a Master of Professional Studies in Digital Media with a concentration in Digital Media Management. Taylor is now a Distribution Marketing Coordinator for the INSP network. She is dedicated to creating inclusive and humane work environments for all people. She lives in Charlotte, NC, and spends her free time screenwriting and lounging with her dog and 2 cats while watching any and all scripted television. She stands firmly with the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees as they seek safe and ethical treatment as employees in the film and television industry.
