Tonya Thompson is the Regional General Manager for MaxxSouth Broadband in Mississippi. With 38 years of success in the cable industry, she began her career as a Customer Service Representative in a Retail Office in 1981. Over the years, she has worked for various service providers such as TCI and Charter Communications. She spent 14 years of her career working in the Greenville/Spartanburg, South Carolina area. Tonya currently manages 6 offices and oversees services in 26 communities. She gained her cable knowledge by working in multiple departments over the years, and admits she continues to learn something new every day.
Her hobbies include spending time with her family; especially shopping with her 2 granddaughters.Tonya resides in Starkville, MS (home of the MSU Bulldogs – GO DAWGS!) with her husband, Tim, who also works for MaxxSouth Broadband, it’s a family affair.
