Vikki Neil

Vikki Neil is Vice-President and General Manager of Digital for Scripps Networks’ home focused web properties. In this position, she oversees top ranking websites including, and Vikki was instrumental in creating the vision and launching the most recent website

Vikki works with the TV network & digital departments – including programming, research, creative services and product development- to develop convergent TV and online initiatives that help create winning websites, engaging experiences for viewers and successful digital businesses. She directly manages the website teams, convergent leads, community and social staff positions in her current role.

Prior to her current role, Neil directed the digital commerce and non-traditional revenue streams for the home related properties of Scripps. Neil also spent three years leading Scripps newspaper division’s online sales and product strategies for real estate, employment and auto categories. Before her classified and home related experience, Neil worked for Walt Disney’s Internet Group in product development for, and the rest of Disney’s online portfolio. She also served as an online site director for an ABC station affiliate in Tampa, bringing one of the first broadband video focused websites to a local station. Neil’s original online roots began in sales, where she started her career as an online sales rep and worked for several years managing online sales in the early days for the St. Petersburg Times and the Knoxville News Sentinel.

Neil holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and an MBA from East Tennessee State.  She is a member of the IAB (Internet Advertising Bureau), Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), and a previous local board member for the Girl Scouts of Tanasi Council.  She is also an active alumni participant for ETSU and has worked with EW Scripps to mentor Ohio University graduates from the Scripps school of Journalism.
