Yi Chen is an Executive Director of Financial Planning & Analysis with Comcast Cable. In this role, she is responsible for consolidating and analyzing $58B of Cable Revenue and $13B of Programming expenses. She provides reporting, conducts analytics, and generates insights that enable executive leadership teams to make informed decisions. Yi also helps deliver Long Range Planning (LRP) that aligns with strategic directions of the company and meets financial goals. The LRP process allows various parts of the organizations to agree on strategic priorities, as a result enables Comcast to focus on executions to achieve business goals.
Prior to this, she served as a Senior Finance Director in TPX (Technology, Product and Xperience) of Comcast Cable. She shaped the Financial & Planning process of the organization, drove financial results, and met budget expectations. In 2012, Yi first joined Comcast in Cable Capital team where she managed $10B of Capital investments that supported growth and innovation of the company. Prior to Comcast, she spent 5 years at Stanley Black & Decker rotating through various financial roles and landed in Financial Operations team where she helped reduce costs and enhanced productivities of various manufacturing facilities.
Yi earned her MBA degree from Carnegie Mellon University. Born and raised in Taiwan, she speaks both Mandarin and Taiwanese. She currently resides in Philadelphia area with her husband and son.
