EmpowerHer: A Returnship Program for Women Re-Entering the Workforce, is being offered as a comprehensive workshop series presented by The WICT Network with Exclusive Presenting Sponsor, Warner Bros. Discovery, and Industry Partner, The Walter Kaitz Foundation.

Through a curated blend of virtual and in-person sessions, you will gain invaluable insights into shifting corporate cultures, hone critical personal and interpersonal skills and forge meaningful connections to support your return-to-work journey.

2024 Program Information
How to Apply: Interested individuals can apply by completing the application form available here. Applications are due Thursday, May 2, by 1:00 pm ET. For inquiries, please contact Jessa Cooke by email at jcooke@wict.org.
Participant Selection: All applications received by the deadline of Thursday, May 2, will undergo a review by our selection committee. Each application will be carefully evaluated based on the applicant’s qualifications, experience and alignment with the program’s goals.
Notification Process: Applicants selected to participate in the program will be notified via email by Tuesday, May 7.
Cost to Attend: An administrative fee of $65 will be invoiced upon acceptance. In addition, associated expenses for the in-person modules, including breakfast and dinner as well as travel and accommodation for four days, if required.

- Ability to commit to the full duration of the program and actively participate in all activities and sessions, both virtually and in-person.
- Demonstrated interest in professional development and a commitment to re-entering the workforce.
- Not currently employed.
- Up to a 7-year extended career break.
- Minimum of 8-10 years work experience, preferably with management experience.
- Industry/sector agnostic. Preference for individuals with professional experience or interest in technology.
- Identify as female or non-binary.
- A positive attitude and openness to feedback and growth.
