What if JOY was a choice? What if it was something we could make happen instead of waiting for it to happen to us? Life doesn’t happen tomorrow at noon, it happens today… in every moment, situation, and scenario.
Whether you’re looking to bring more JOY into your work or home, The WICT Network: New England Chapter is proud to invite its members to join our upcoming book club and accompanying workshop to help you achieve a more JOYful life, featuring Lisa Even’s debut publication “Joy Is My Job”. All participants will receive a physical copy of Lisa’s book and admission to an in-person, energetic, yet practical workshop facilitated by Lisa herself. You’ll leave this workshop with powerful (yet executable) strategies to apply immediately and JOY challenges to take home.
This program kicks off with a 30-minute webinar on Wednesday, April 17, where you’ll be introduced (or re-introduced) to Lisa, learn how having a Good Ripple Effect began her on her journey towards JOY, and learn what to expect during the workshop. Note: the webinar will be recorded and made available if you can’t attend the live session.
The workshop takes place on Wednesday, May 1st in the Stanley Works Center at the New Britain Museum of American Art. Join us for coffee and networking hour prior to the 90-minute workshop. Lisa will present before facilitating several small groups, providing scenario-based support in tackling barriers and creating a JOY list and calendar. To help those in attendance ease back into their workday, boxed lunches will be provided after the event.
