The WICT Network: Virginia Mentorship Program
Our mentoring program pairs individuals (mentees) with one-on-one support from mentors across the industry. The program offers group cohort meetings to provide a variety of tools throughout the program to enhance your career goals. Mentees will have the opportunity to build a relationship with their mentor, in addition to the entire cohort.
A mentoring partnership can be an enriching experience, providing development of your leadership and communication skills, while contributing to your career advancement.
Mentoring can also give you a great overall sense of personal satisfaction, knowing that you are helping someone else learn and grow on a professional and personal level.

Meet Our Facilitator – Shelly James, M.A., PHR
As HR Solutions Manager at Cox Communications, Shelly James has more than twenty years of experience equipping leaders at all levels in various industries for actionable impact. As a member of the Talent Solutions team within Strategic Human Resources, she provides leadership consultation, executive advising, coaching, team development and talent solutions. She is an entrepreneur and copywriter of a 20-minute effective meeting management solution, as well as a personal empowerment model called ARPO.
