The success of the WICT Carolinas chapter is a direct result of the passionate and hard-working volunteers that create educational and career development opportunities for established and emerging leaders across the Carolinas footprint.

Data Optimization: Help us identify areas for growth and communicate by success by crunching the numbers and turning moments into metrics.

Event Production & Website Technology: Our newest Committee is looking for tech-experts to support event production and manage our internal Chapter resources.

Finance: Are numbers and spreadsheets your thing? Join the Finance Committee and help keep the bills paid and the books balanced.

Giving Back / Philanthropy: It’s not just about helping yourself. It’s about uplifting your broader network. Plan philanthropic activities, like donation drives, help fundraise and implement scholarship programs, and be part of something bigger than yourself on the Giving Back Committee.

Marketing and Communications: If you’re reading this email, you already know how important this committee is to our Chapters success. Design graphics, manage projects, and get creative with MarCom.

Membership: Help us grow our Network by engaging new members, encouraging membership renewals, and identifying membership pipelines. The Membership Committee is The WICT Network: Carolinas welcome wagon.

Mentoring: Support our signature Mentoring Circles program. Help plan in person events, support the development of our curriculum, and encourage participation.

Programming: The bread and butter of our Chapter, and we need all hands on deck. We’re looking for creative thinkers, detail oriented doers, and logistics lovers to help us plan and execute meaningful events for our members.

The Programming team is broken into three subcommittees:

  • Executive Events: Unique events designed to meet the needs of our Executive Members.
  • Professional Development Events: Ongoing events to help our members develop hard and soft skills.
  • Signature Events: Showstopping annual programs – Tech It Out and the Circle of Empowerment Awards.

Sponsorship: Help us keep the lights on by communicating the value of our organization to Sponsors – and ensure they are recognized throughout the year. A great role for the relationship builders and rain makers.

Succession Planning: Have a knack for building teams? Join our Succession Planning Committee to support our Chapter’s growing volunteer needs, including developing future Chapter leaders.
